Uruguay launches environmental strategy to achieve decarbonisation by 2050 | Society | America Edition

Uruguay on Thursday launched its environmental strategy to mitigate the effects of climate change and achieve total decarbonization of its economy by 2050, with the aim of becoming an “example” for other countries.

During a virtual presentation in which several ministerial authorities in the country participated together with an international panel, the Government promoted its “Long-term strategy for the development of low emission and climate resilient”.
