The rules of being friends with Beyonce

After the release of DJ Khaled’s “Top Off” with Jay-Z and Beyoncé Knowles Carter in 2019, fans wondered if the lyrics were from Beyoncé: “If you’re having a tryna party with the queen, you have to sign a secrecy” , comedian Tiffany Haddish.

Here’s the backstory. According to ELLEHaddish attended an after-party for one of Jay-Z’s Los Angeles concerts in 2018. Another celebrity is said to have bit Beyoncé at the party, and Haddish was the one who spilled the tea on the audience.

The comedian later took to Instagram Live to tell fans she couldn’t share any details about the night because she signed a nondisclosure agreement.

“Look, if you signed a nondisclosure agreement, see if you asked me all this, you know, when I did the interview … like a month and a half ago [I could’ve talked about who the biter is but]You know, NDAs are real. NDAs are real, so I’m not saying anything about anything, ” Haddish said at the time (via ELLE).

The night of the party used to be First time Haddish had met Beyoncé, and it seems the comedian learned her lesson about keeping quiet about outings with Beyoncé. You later tweeted, “I love Beyonce… Everything she said sounded so real to me. Just know that I will sign a nondisclosure agreement for Beyoncé every day. But I also know that I will fight for Beyoncé. I love this woman, she’s a gift from God ”(via People).
