Eschborn (dpa / tmn) – Every summer, employees ask themselves again: what should I wear to work when it’s really hot? Opinions are divided on how summer clothes can be at work. This is shown by a YouGov survey carried out on behalf of the online career portal Monster.
Just over one in three (37 percent) believed that during the summer heat at work, your arms should be kept free, but no more please. 38% did not care about the dress code. For them, it doesn’t matter what clothes employees wear when they go to work. The main thing is that the heat can be endured.
A small proportion of respondents (8%) spoke out strongly against bare skin at work. And 6% said everyone would work where there was no dress code anyway – at the home office. 11 percent of those surveyed did not respond.
A total of 2,032 people took part in the online survey between July 27 and July 29, 2020.
