Telefónica Brasil advances in the purchase of Oi by allowing access to documents | Economy America Edition

Telefónica Brasil, TIM and Claro (subsidiary of América Móvil) managed to have the Brazilian mobile operator Oi allow them access to corporate documentation exclusively until August 11 to anticipate the purchase offer presented at the end of last July.

In a relevant event sent this morning by the Spanish telecommunications company to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), it is stated that this consortium has taken a new step around the review of the binding offer submitted to Grupo Oi on 27 July for the purchase of the mobile business of the fourth Brazilian telecommunications operator ”.
