Portugal: Alaba on the future question: not to distract from the traps – Bavaria

Munich – David Alaba of FC Bayern Munich does not want to publicly discuss his personal future beyond the current season. “I’m really focusing elsewhere,” said Austrian defender Munich after reaching the Champions League quarter-finals. He is focusing on the coming weeks. “That’s why I don’t get distracted by all the pitfalls,” Alaba said on Saturday night.

FC Bayern are hoping the 28-year-old will extend his contract, which expires next summer. There is currently no agreement. The “Kicker” recently reported a positive trend towards contract extension.

Apparently, Manchester City are said to be interested in ex-Bayern manager Pep Guardiola signing the Austrian national player. Alaba himself would have flirted with Real Madrid or FC Barcelona.
