Pollution: end of differentiated traffic in Île-de-France

POLLUTION – The prefect of Paris Didier Lallement announced the lifting of differentiated traffic in Ile-de-France as of Monday at 8:00 p.m. and, as of midnight, of all restrictions related to the ozone pollution episode. according to a press release.

“Taking into account the improvement of the air in Ile-de-France”, the prefect of police “decided to lift all emergency measures to reduce pollutant emissions from Tuesday 00:00”, according to a press release from the headquarters of cop.

Traffic had been differentiated since Thursday in Ile-de-France to cope with the pollution episode favored by the intense heat.

In a territory delimited by the A86, only vehicles with a Crit’Air class 0, 1 and 2 sticker were allowed to circulate between 5:30 am and 8 pm

Top speeds were also reduced, going to 110 km / h, 90 km / h and 70 km / h depending on the track.
