Mexican Formula 1 driver Sergio Pérez returned to the positive in the COVID-19 test, so he will remain isolated and German Nico Hülkenberg will drive his car for the second consecutive race on Sunday’s 70th anniversary at Silverstone (UK).
The Racing Point team confirmed the positive in a press release in which it guaranteed that Pérez is “physically well and recovering”, and confirmed that Hülkenberg will drive the Mexican car in the three training sessions on Friday and Saturday, the classification of the Racing Saturday and Sunday.
