The value of the dollar, or better, of the multiple prices that the American currency has in Argentina, continues to rise a year after the “black August”, when the price of the currency rose violently, in the midst of a strong economic crisis marked by changes policies.

A year ago, Argentina was already in a deep recession. On Sunday, August 11, 2019, Peronist Alberto Fernández prevailed over the then president, conservative Mauricio Macri, in the primary elections, paving the way for what would be his triumph in the October presidential elections, news that fell badly in the financial world.
