International: FC Bayern to start training in Algarve – Bavaria

Lagos – FC Bayern Munich have started training in the Algarve ahead of the Champions League tournament in Lisbon with recently struggling Jérôme Boateng and Kingsley Coman. The two football professionals attended the lawn training session at the “Cascade” hotel complex in Lagos on Monday morning. Coach Hansi Flick can therefore predict the quarter-finals against FC Barcelona this Friday.

In front of board members Oliver Kahn and Hasan Salihamidzic, defense chief David Alaba completed just one running session two days after the 4-1 home win in the second leg of the second leg against Chelsea . The Austrian’s use against Barca is not in danger. The still ill young scorer Joshua Zirkzee was also absent from the team’s training. Boateng was slightly injured against Chelsea, Coman had been spared against Londoners.

The predominantly used players against Chelsea were a little less loaded in the first training session, during which a cool wind provided some cooling. “We need to recharge the batteries,” Flick reported in hot Portugal. He wanted to give his players a free Monday afternoon to disconnect from football. The Bavarian team hotel is ideally located on the cliffs above the Atlantic. On Thursday, the Bayern entourage will travel to Lisbon.
