While there are many photos of Beyoncé and Rihanna together, the true nature of their relationship remains rather mysterious. Despite rumors over the years, the two never made a song together, and perhaps never will, given Rihanna’s continued break in music. They also have no common activities. And while they’re allied by Bey’s husband Jay-Z, at some point there were some intense (though debunked) rumors of fraud.
While this does not mean that they are hostile to each other, it does not seem that they are beasts. After all, Bey often shows close friends like Kelly Rowland and Serena Williams in their videos, and Rihanna never made cameos.
The Black is king The maker may have had a major influence on Rih-Rih’s musical career in the beginning. Music producer LA Reid did not seem impressed by Rihanna when he first met her, as he described in his 2017 memoir Sing to Me: My story about making music, finding magic and looking for the next one, Per Vanity Fair.
“We thought of the label [singer] Teairra Mari would be the big star, “Reid recalled.” We spent more time with her, worked more on her, and paid more attention to her. But Reid changed her mind when Queen Bey co-signed the singer. Beyoncé came to me [and said] “The Rihanna girl, she’s an animal.” “
Of course, Beyoncé was right and the two stars have been dominating the charts ever since.
