Greece requested this Tuesday to convene an extraordinary meeting of the General Affairs Council of the European Union after the new tension that arose with Ankara due to the presence of Turkish seismic and military ships in an area of the Mediterranean that Athens considers its jurisdiction.
The Greek diplomatic machine continued to operate at full speed today, after the seismic vessel Oruc Reis left the port of Antalya on Monday and arrived in an area of the eastern Mediterranean that both countries consider part of their continental shelf, where it intends to continue exploring for two weeks.
