Nuremberg (dpa / lby) – 1. FC Nuremberg won a close test match in the first game under new manager Robert Klauss. The Franks won 1-0 (1-0) over second division rivals SSV Jahn Regensburg on Tuesday. Felix Lohkemper scored the first goal in the 20th minute. During the break, Klauss traded the eleven players. The Franks will continue with a test against FC Augsburg on Saturday. Jahn meets Türkgücü Munich on Saturday.
Due to the effects of the corona pandemic, the tests are being carried out behind closed doors. The new season is set to kick off with the DFB Cup first round from September 11-14. A week later, the Bundesliga, 2nd Bundesliga and 3rd League are expected to start playing again.
