Less than a minute on Saturday, in heavy traffic on Autobahn 4 Dresden-Erfurt just before the Nossen triangle (Meißen district), four cars collided. In all three accidents, two children and three adults were injured, as the Dresden police announced on Sunday. An eight-year-old boy and an 11-year-old girl and three inmates aged 44, 45 and 74 were admitted to hospital. Due to the use of a rescue helicopter and the recovery of the crashed vehicle, the highway was completely closed for almost an hour, but according to a police spokesperson, there was only ‘a brief backlog.
