Cuba confirmed 65 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, the highest number in the last three months, with Havana declining in control of the epidemic due to outbreaks and increased infections, for which authorities ordered the return to more restrictive epidemiological measures.
Among the 65 infections confirmed today – 64 Cubans and a French resident in Havana – there are 20 imported cases that were detected in the centers where travelers remain isolated after their arrival on the island, according to updated data from the daily report of the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap) .
