China declares US veto to TikTok and WeChat is “dishonest act of shame” | Economy America Edition

Today, China saw the US order to ban transactions with Chinese tech giants ByteDance (TikTok) and Tencent (WeChat) as an “outright act of hegemony” and said Washington “will taste the bitter fruit of choosing its own interests in instead of “market principles”.

In his daily press conference, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin urged the US government to “listen to the rational voices of his country and the international community, correct his mistakes and stop politicizing economic and oppress “business”.
