Munich (dpa / lby) – Directors Marcus H. Rosenmüller and Julia von Heinz will jointly lead the Film and Telefilm Directing course at the University of Television and Film (HFF) in Munich from the fall. The two filmmakers remained active in the industry and were thus able to pass on their experiences of their own work directly to the students, the HFF announced in Munich on Monday.
Rosenmüller is known for films like “Those who die sooner are dead longer” or “Trautmann”. Among other things, von Heinz directed the films “I’ll be gone”, “Hanna’s journey” and “And the whole world tomorrow”, which can be seen this year at the Venice International Film Festival. The two succeed Andreas Gruber, who had headed the production department for over 18 years.
