Passau (dpa / lby) – In connection with a deadly knife attack in Passau, the judgment against the 26-year-old defendant is awaited today in the regional court. The prosecutor calls for life imprisonment for the Iranian man for the insidious murder.
The defense lawyer had spoken out against him during eight years in prison for dangerous bodily harm resulting in death. The man’s second defense lawyer pleaded manslaughter without specifying a specific sentence.
The 26-year-old and his victim, a compatriot, have reportedly already quarreled in Iran. For this, the accused wanted revenge, so the prosecution. They happened to meet in Passau and had a date in the fall of 2019. This led to the fatal knife attack.
