Gerbrunn (dpa / lby) – An 81-year-old woman from the Lower Franconian district of Würzburg has broken both legs due to a misconduct by her husband. Police said on Sunday the 83-year-old wanted his wife to get out of the car at the entrance to Gerbrunn’s garage. With the woman’s legs already sticking out of the passenger door, he took the brake pedal for the accelerator and entered the garage. The passenger door hit the garage wall and slammed again. Both of the woman’s legs were broken. She came to the hospital for treatment. Police are investigating a negligent assault on the 83-year-old man. Additionally, the driver’s license office was notified of the incident on Friday.
