Erlangen (dpa / lby) – In Bavaria, 83 people were newly infected with the corona virus from Friday to Saturday morning. This brought the total number of all people who have tested positive so far to 51,788, as the State Office for Health and Food Safety in Erlangen announced on Saturday. So far, 2,624 people have died who were infected with the pathogen. The so-called 7-day incidence, that is, the number of infections per 100,000 population in the last seven days, is currently 5.39. The threshold for tighter restrictions on public life agreed to by federal and state governments is a 50-day out of 7 incidence.
